Like other beta-adrenergic agonists, AccuNeb can produce paradoxical bronchospasm, which may be life-threatening. AccuNeb should be used with caution in patients with cardiovascular disorders and patients being treated with epinephrine, oral sympathomimetics, beta-blockers, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, or tricyclic antidepressants.
